CAMDA 2007 - EMERALD session: Three travel bursaries for PhD students available
The EMERALD consortium would like to announce three travel grants for Ph.D. students who are citizens of the European Union member states to help them to participate in the CAMDA 2007-EMERALD workshop Session in Valencia.
Each scholarship will pay up to Euro 500 for travel expenses. Eligible candidates must be a presenting first author on a poster, they should be willing to present their work orally, and they must be a PhD student at the time of registering for the conference.
Selected PhD students will get 20 minutes to present their work at the EMERALD – sponsored workshop. They will receive an invitation as soon as possible after the poster submission deadline (30 October).

Scholarships are intended for students who otherwise could not afford to attend after exclusion of all other possible institutional/group assistance schemes. Applicants must submit a poster through the CAMDA 2007 Conference Call for Posters website: http://www.easychair.org/CAMDA07/. The deadline for submission is October 30, 2007. Recipients of a scholarship will be informed how they will receive refunds of documented travel expenses. The EMERALD Coordination Action aims at developing and implementing quality metrics and microarray data quality standards. Posters related to microarray data quality and standards will be given preference. Notification to accepted oral presenters and recipients of travel bursaries will be Nowember 15th.
